Romans 12 is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible. There are so many great parts, today “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” stuck out to me!
We always have Hope no matter what problems we face. He tells us in the rest of the verse how to achieve that Hope.
Rejoice- be thankful that we are not alone. We have a constant guide that will never leave us.
Be patient ~ that may sound odd but many times my go to in trouble is panic first. He tells us to be patient so that we will hear His guidance. We must turn to Him and watch and listen to His words. He will NEVER leave us alone.
The way for us to feel that Hope and be patient is in the last part of the verse. We need to be constant in prayer. We need to spend time talking to God. Yes. He knows what we are facing but He also wants us to come to Him. How do you get to know someone better? You spend time in conversation with them. God wants us to sit at His feet and talk to Him and listen for His guidance. He is our Abba, who loves us more than we can even imagine.
I pray that you spend time today rejoicing in the Hope that God gave us through Jesus. If you find yourself facing problems. I pray for calmness of Spirit so that you can seek God first. Let us be constantly in prayer for each other!

My pastor said that when God repeats things in the Bible he is trying to get a point across. Apparently this is one message that God wants me to get. I wrote about this in June of 2022. I had completely forgotten.
