It truly is a battle of the mind. Our hearts can be firmly rooted in love for God, yet our thoughts can begin to wander, creating doubt and unrest that leads us into a downward spiral. That’s why we must hold on to the truth of Romans 12:2: Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Ask God to guard your mind and put on the helmet of salvation knowing that God is with you to help you follow the advice in 2 Corinthians 10:5: – We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Following His Lead
