Sunday I was challenged us to think about my relationship with God! Then I read this devotional:
“if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints.”
— Proverbs 2:4-8
My Pastor said you have to want and desire God’s wisdom! The verse says – Seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure. You don’t just casually look for hidden treasure you put all of your energy into it. It becomes the focus of your thoughts. Is God my focus, do I truly seek Him like hidden treasure? If not what do I seek? Lord search my heart and help me see what I need to change!
My prayer for all of us is that we examine our hearts and truly put our focus where it belongs. Let’s be the light this world needs. Shine for Jesus and share His love!
