I woke up from a nightmare and God gave me this verse. Trust in Him, that means in the face of fears, doubts, financial hardships, diagnosis, and relationship issues God is there! The first part is the important part for some to understand. It says when I am afraid. God knows that fear will surround us. It will grip our hearts, it isn’t a sign that we don’t have faith. It is the fact we are human. Fear is a natural thing. God understands this and reminds us that when that fear happens we have Him to trust in. We don’t have to face the fears by ourselves. He is our hope. He is the light that breaks through the darkness and gives us a light to follow. As my pastor said a couple of years ago, your faith is showing when you step through the fear.
