As I think back on my past I am in awe of God’s love and kindness. He has always been by my side.
It was Him who made sure my sister in law was my Grandmother’s nurse the day she passed.
He was the one who sent the nurse to pick me up off the floor the day before my mom passed.
He was the one who helped me see the a new hope and guided me forward for my children after my marriage fell apart.
He was the one who provided for my family the summer when I had no idea how we would get through!
The list could go on and on.
The Lord is always close by; sometimes we feel so alone and our hearts ache but we are never left by ourselves. He promises us –
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.””
Deuteronomy 31:6 ESV
So whatever you are facing lean into these promises and know that His love is there to comfort you and provide you strength to move forward!!
